Excellence in Teaching
The University of Mannheim offers top-class opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students as well as for doctoral students. The courses in all schools have an excellent reputation for their practice-oriented and interdisciplinary approach. Students of many study areas such as Social Sciences, Law and Humanities have the opportunity to acquire additional economic skills and knowledge, thus improving their possibilities on the job market. Another of Mannheim's trademarks is the university's international focus. The University of Mannheim currently maintains approximately 300 partnerships with universities in countries all around the world. These partnerships include student and staff exchanges as well as various types of scientific research programmes.
Besides this there are some programmes held completely or partially in English, i.e. the Master of Comparative Law, the Master of Economics, the Master of Political Science, the Master of Intercultural German Studies or the Mannheim Master in Management.
The University of Mannheim encourages students of all programs to conduct a part of their program abroad. The integration of the exchange is easiy to implement as the University of Mannheim follows the international termtime. Mannheim's students use this possibility to study in a foreign country more often than students of other federal universities.
