The lecture room contains some equipement as described below. You are encouraged to bring your laptop, to make sure that everything is installed as you require. The system demos will also be in front of the lecture room. There will be a table (0.8 m x 1.6 m) and electricity to place your laptop, eventually we can prepare for LAN. The lecture room is equiped with two video-beamer systems. The beamers are connected to a PC (with Internet access) and with an external connector (VGA) to a laptop. The PC is configured to allow Windows NT or SuSE Linux to be booted. There is also a LAN connector (twisted-pair cable, RJ45) to connect the laptop, but the IP-address must be configured by hand (no DHCP).
The lecture room is moreover equiped with a usual overhead projector and two blackboards. The room has a video-tape play and recording system, but we have no idea on how to operate it.
