Preparatory courses: International Summer/Winter Academy
For exchange students, the University of Mannheim offers a preparatory intensive language course, the International Summer/Winter Academy. However, the International Summer/Winter Academy classes are more than just language courses: apart from the morning intensive course, they also give you the opportunity to attend a number of seminars. In these seminars, you can learn about the culture and mindset in Germany or attend language practice courses to deepen your knowledge of the German language.
The University of Mannheim opens its facilities to the attendees of the International Summer/Winter Academy: You can study individually in the “Mediathek” or work out in the “Uni-Sport” sport courses.
