The ecUM Card

The ecUM is your student identity card from the University of Mannheim. It is a chip card and can be used to pay for food in the Mensa (cafeteria) and for photocopying. In order to use it for these services, you will have to transfer money onto the ecUM. You can do this via Autoload or in cash in the Mensa, Café Soleil and EO. If you buy a semester ticket, the card will also serve as your ticket for public transportation.
You will receive your ecUM card after enrollment at the University Library in the east wing of the Schloss. Please bring your passport and the student ID number you received after enrolling.

Opening hours: Mon – Fr: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

If any problems with your ecUM occur, please refer to the Info Center.
