Apply to the Studentenwerk for a place in the residence halls
The Studentenwerk offers approx. 2,500 rooms in 14 residence halls. You will find an overview of all residence halls here. Student residence halls are the ideal place to get to know both German students and fellow students from all over the world! Applications to the Studentenwerk can be made via the internet:

The Studentenwerk also offers private accommodation. To be eligible for this accommodation, you must already be enrolled and go to the Studentenwerk in person (take your ecUM card with you!). The Studentenwerk is located at Parkring 39, 68159 Mannheim.

Applying for private residence halls
There are three private residences in Mannheim that you can apply to:
1. Alfred-Delp-Haus (www.alfred-delp-haus.de)

The Alfred-Delp-Haus (ADH) is a centrally located, private Catholic residence, where interaction between the residents is encouraged and plays an important role. There is a good atmosphere that is maintained by all residents and the resident director. In an effort to sustain this atmosphere, applicants are first interviewed so the residents can get to know them personally. Application forms can be found on the website.
2. Curt-Sandig-Haus (www.curt-sandig-haus.de)

The Curt-Sandig-Haus is an Protestant residence, where the residents organise many activities together (Parties, Sports, Plays, Theatre, Photos, etc.). Applications can be found on their homepage and are open to students of every belief.

The Emilie-Hucht-Haus, a catholic residence, offers rooms for students as well.
