International Meeting Centre (IBZ)
The guest house in L 2 is a so-called "Internationales Begegnungszentrum" (IBZ - International Meeting Center). Besides the apartments, it has a meeting area with a lounge and a small coffee bar.
In the meeting area there is approximately 350 m² of space available for promoting interaction between international and local researchers. Furthermore, there is a seminar room on the first floor for international and local researchers to meet, discuss and plan new projects.
The International Meeting Centre is first and foremost available to international researchers and residents of the guest house. You are welcome to use these facilities to hold meetings, to celebrate together or simply to cook a meal for your friends and colleagues. Please register with Ms. Birgit Piesch (-3222) using the application form below.
It is also possible for student initiatives or chairs of the University of Mannheim to book the International Meeting Centre (IBZ) for intercultural events. Please direct your application to Ms. Piesch using the application form below (-3222).
