ENGAGE.EU

The European University Engaged in Societal Change

What ENGAGE.EU aims for
ENGAGE.EU is an alliance of leading European universities in business, economics, and social sciences with rich experience in analyzing societal change. The alliance's ambition is to enable its learners to act as socially engaged European citizens and to have impact on society at large.

The Partners
The ENGAGE.EU European University is composed of the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli in Rome (Luiss), the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen, Tilburg University, the University of Mannheim, the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, the University of Toulouse 1 Capitole and Vienna University of Economics and Business, reflecting the diversity of Europe. The alliance is currently the academic home to over 100,000 students, academics and staff who cooperate enthusiastically, co-create and share their interdisciplinary and cross-cultural knowledge.

Opportunities for students and researchers
As a European university, we are committed to international exchange. For example, the Online Exchange Initiative and the ENGAGE.EU Labs offer students a wide range of virtual study opportunities. Researchers have the opportunity to work on socially relevant topics in our Think Tank or to teach abroad through ERASMUS+ funding and gain valuable experience in the process.

What ENGAGE.EU Does

ENGAGED Learning

The partner universities will build a joint ENGAGE.EU University Campus with a common course catalogue and a range of real and virtual mobility opportunities embedded into their programs.

ENGAGED Research and Innovation

An ENGAGE.EU University Think Tank involving Communities for Societal Change (CSC) will map the causes and consequences of societal changes and provide analyses supporting the actions of the Alliance.

ENGAGED in Society

Bridging research and innovation and society, a series of ENGAGE.EU Labs will be set up in which students, lifelong learners, researchers, innovators, companies, citizens’ initiatives and policy-makers will be working together to find knowledge-based solutions for real-life problems.
