Kinder-Uni im Herbst 2018: Noch Plätze frei

Zu jung für die Uni? Nicht hier: Ob spanische Weltliteratur, alte Geschichte oder Informatik – bei der Kinder-Uni der Universität Mannheim können Schülerinnen und Schüler zwischen acht und zwölf Jahren in interessanten Vorlesungen und Workshops wieder hautnah erleben, wie spannend Wissenschaft ist.

In the subjects Political Sciences and Business Administration, the University of Mannheim is the best German university. In Economics, Finance and Communication, it is ranked 2nd nationwide.

A heart for helpers: ”Retterherz“ wins Social Project Contest

“Retterherz” is the winner of the Social Project Contest 2018. The Business School had called upon student initiatives of the University of Mannheim to apply with their social projects for a start-up financing. “Retterherz” tries to gain a greater acceptance for helping professions and volunteer activities and to attract young professionals through public relations work in social networks.

Alliance for European Co-Operation in Higher Education

On July 16-17, the presidents of Europe’s twelve leading universities in the economic and social sciences met at the University of Mannheim for strategy talks. On the initiative of President Prof. Ernst-Ludwig von Thadden they discussed developments in European higher education and explored the scope for co-operation.
