Pursuing parallel studies means that a student is studying two different programs at the same time. According to the Act on Higher Education of the Land of Baden-Württemberg (LHG), students can only enroll in two or more selective degree programs if they have specific professional, academic, or artistic reasons for doing so.
If you would like to take up parallel studies, please submit the required form to the Student Services office in due time (ideally before the final application deadline – requests received after this date may delay your enrollment). You do not need to submit a request if you are planning on enrolling in one selective program and one or more non-selective programs.
