The Mannheim Business School is one of the leading institutions for management education in Europe. Its core offering consists of international Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs, taught entirely in English, which may be studied on either a full-time or part-time basis.
The Studium Generale provides a wide range of courses which are open to everyone. You don’t have to be a student to register. You can attend, for example, a language course or test, a course in IT or rhetoric, presentations on current topics, or theater classes.
The Center for Development of Key Competencies coordinates all interdisciplinary seminars. Experts with practical experience teach students relevant, career-related skills, such as presentation and communication skills, and time management. At the University of Mannheim, seminars on key competencies are an established part of the degree plans for the various bachelor’s programs.
University is just for grown-ups? No way! Lecture series are held twice a year for young students aged eight and over. The lectures take place in the university’s lecture halls, so school pupils can see what studying is really like (website only available in German).
