Management Courses

The Mannheim Business School is one of the leading institutions for management education in Europe. Its core offering consists of international Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs, taught entirely in English, which may be studied on either a full-time or part-time basis.

International Program in Survey and Data Science (IPSDS)

International Program in Survey and Data Science (IPSDS) is a modular educational program that attracts professionals working with data collection and analysis, who choose to enhance their skills through a flexible online learning environment. Courses are taught in English by faculty from world’s top ranked universities, statistical agencies and businesses.

Courses Organized by the Studium Generale

The Studium Generale provides a wide range of courses which are open to everyone. You don’t have to be a student to register. You can attend, for example, a language course or test, a course in IT or rhetoric, presentations on current topics, or theater classes.

Soft Skills Courses

The Center for Development of Key Competencies coordinates all interdisciplinary seminars. Experts with practical experience teach students relevant, career-related skills, such as presentation and communication skills, and time management. At the University of Mannheim, seminars on key competencies are an established part of the degree plans for the various bachelor’s programs.

Kids' University

University is just for grown-ups? No way! Lecture series are held twice a year for young students aged eight and over. The lectures take place in the university’s lecture halls, so school pupils can see what studying is really like (website only available in German).

Senior Citizens and Guest Students

The Guest Student and Senior Citizen Program is open to those who would like to tackle scientific topics after, or alongside, their work or family commitments (website only available in German).
