Career

After I graduated from the University of Mannheim, I worked as a compliance manager and subsequently occupied the position of Expert Legal Document Manager at KWS Saat, a biotechnology company that focuses on plant breeding. Afterwards, I was offered a job as an associate at the law firm Healys LLP in Egypt. Currently, I am working as a legal adviser and community manager at a media company.

Tips for starting your career

The Master of Comparative Business Law is a full-time program. Students who strive to be successful lawyers should attend the lectures on a regular basis, do their very best, and study long hours. Learning German during their studies is an important milestone for international students in order to pursue a career in Germany.

Relevance of the studied program

Holding a master's degree from such a great university has added significant value to my entire career. The University of Mannheim is Germany’s best university in Economics and Business Administration. Because of its excellent reputation, it is also called “Harvard of Germany”.

Studying and living in Mannheim, I was given the opportunity to challenge myself, explore new things, and make friends all over the world. These experiences were not only valuable for finding my first job, but also had a huge impact on my life as a whole.
