Maybe you’ve only just started your research at the University of Mannheim, or maybe you’ve submitted several grant applications already. No matter which stage of the process you are at, you may have questions on applying for funding. That’s why the University of Mannheim has summarized the individual steps to submitting a grant application in the following document:
Once you have come up with your project idea, it may take up to twelve months for you to get a grant. If you want to apply for internal start-up funding, contact Division I - Controlling and Quality Management, Research Services as early as possible.
Not all sponsors are the same. Every organization has its own funding program with specific conditions that your research project has to fulfill to be awarded a grant. The team in Division I - Controlling and Quality Management, Research Services can explain which organizations and which formats are most relevant for your project.
You can arrange a consultation with Dr. Gärtner, Dr. Schlichter, Mr. Fäth or Mr. Gebhard.
