ILIAS Service
The University of Mannheim provides an online platform, ILIAS, to support teachers with the planning and execution of their courses. ILIAS enables teachers to upload learning material, monitor learning progress through online tests, produce wiki content with their classes, and communicate with students using the forum, for example.
The e-learning service in the Department of Educational Development provides guidance on ILIAS. The team can give you information on the functions available in ILIAS, advise you, for example, on how to plan courses supported by the platform, and provide help with user problems.
If you submit a query on a weekday, you will usually receive a response within 24 hours. An advisor will respond to you by e-mail or come to your office to solve the problem, if necessary. You can also ask the advisor to send you a video tutorial which has been tailored to your query.
