Due to a critical weakness in the very popular Java library, the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) has issued a red warning. The University IT (UNIT) immediately checked all relevant systems used by the University of Mannheim.
Our first action is to deactivate the open source web conference system BigBlueButton on 14 December 2021 at 12.30 p.m. We will continue to check additional systems and keep you posted.
