The University of Mannheim has, once again, been ranked highly in the latest university ranking of the Centre for Higher Education (CHE). With its programs in Business Administration and Law, the university is ranked one of the top institutions and its programs in Economics received the most top scores nationwide. This confirms once again the excellent quality of education at the University of Mannheim. The programs in Business Informatics ranked towards the middle. The full ranking will be published today in the print edition of the ZEIT Studienführer 2020/2021. In recent years, the University of Mannheim has regularly achieved top positions in the CHE ranking, also for its programs in Humanities and Social Sciences.
When it comes to Economics, the University of Mannheim received the most top scores nationwide. It is ranked among the top entries in twelve of the 19 categories, and performed extremely well in terms of research and teaching.
Business Administration at the University of Mannheim was ranked among the top entries in 14 of the 19 categories.
The Department of Law did especially well with regard to teaching and achieved top scores in 13 of the 18 categories.
The programs in Business Informatics at the University of Mannheim achieved top positions in the categories “support during the study entry phase”, “graduations in appropriate time”, “organization of studies”, and “premises”. In the other categories, the program was ranked towards the middle.
The CHE University Ranking is the most comprehensive and detailed university ranking in German-speaking countries. Since 1998, over 140 universities and more than 250 universities of applied sciences and public universities of cooperative education (Berufsakademien) have been examined as part of the university ranking.
