Girls'Day at the University of Mannheim

On March 28, female school pupils can learn about programs offered by the School of Business Informatics and Mathematics at the University of Mannheim as part of the nationwide Girls' Day. Registration is now open.

On occasion of the nationwide Girls'Day on 28 March, the School of Business Informatics and Mathematics of the University of Mannheim is once again hosting female school pupils from grades 9 to 12. They can learn about the range of programs offered by the school and careers for female information scientists and mathematicians. Registration is open until March 14th. Send an e-mail to lutz(at)wim.uni-mannheim.de stating your home address, the name of your school and the class your are in.

The Girls'Day starts at 10 a.m. with a welcoming reception in which professors and students of the School of Business Informatics and Mathematics introduce themselves to the pupils, followed by a guided tour of the campus. During a break, pupils have the opportunity to talk to students of the school over snacks and beverages. From 12 noon to 2 p.m., workshops on informatics and mathematics are on the agenda.
