The International Weeks against Racism will be held from 15 to 28 March 2021

Since 1979, the International Weeks against Racism are an annually organized series of events around the 21 March. This year’s slogan is “Solidarity.Boundless.” From Monday, 15 March on, there will be several digital events to attend and participate.

After a virtual opening on Monday, 15 March 2021, numerous digital events, coordinated by the “Foundation Against Racism” will be taking place throughout Germany. The program contains lectures, online workshops, readings and invites everyone interested to engage and participate. This year’s ambassador is the pianist Igor Levit. In the metropolitan region, the Intercultural Center Heidelberg, among others, is participating with numerous events.

Showing solidarity is also possible during a pandemic. You can support ongoing initiatives like “Stand up for Racism”, share the accompanying hashtags in social networks (#IWgR' #IWgR21, #InternationalWeeksAgainstRacism, #Solidarity.Boundless, #stopracism, #racismnothanks, #notoracism, #againstracism, #fightracism, #standup4humanrights) and use the customized wallpaper for ZOOM.
