New assistant professor for Management Analytics

Dr. Jana-Rebecca Rehse will strengthen the Management Analytics Center

The Area Information Systems welcomes Dr. Jana-Rebecca Rehse who will join the Business School as a Junior Professor for Management Analytics in the newly founded Management Analytics Center in the beginning of March 2020. Dr. Rehse previously worked as a researcher at the Institute for Information Systems (IWi) at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). She obtained her Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree in Business Informatics from Saarland University, Saarbruecken, Germany. Her research interests include applications of Artificial Intelligence for Business Process Management, in particular Process Mining, Process Prediction, and Process Assistance Systems. She is interested in finding data-centered solutions to practically relevant problems. The findings from her research have been published in outlets, such as Decision Support Systems (DSS), the International Journal on Software and Systems Modeling (SoSyM), and in various conference proceedings including the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS), the International Conference on Business Process Management (BPM) and the Wirtschaftsinformatik Conference (WI).

Dr. Jana-Rebecca Rehse will teach a master-level course in FSS 2020 titled Process Mining and Analytics which is open to MMM, MMBR, Business Informatics and Business Education students.
