Already since 2014, the Institute of Sport has run its own yoga center. This makes us one of the first institutions in Germany to establish its own yoga studio as part of the university sports program. This shows how much we care about health sport. Especially in hectic times of everyday life, study and / or the world of work, it is important to care for body, mind and soul.
In our courses we offer the most important pillars of western yoga practice: asanas (exercises), pranayama (breathing) and meditation. Yoga works on many levels: physically, mentally and energetically. Every single yoga practice changes you in a positive way. They strengthen coordination, flexibility, strength and stamina, but also get your metabolism going and provide a healthy musculoskeletal system. Yoga gives you a focused mind, decelerates and invigorates at the same time.
