Kristina Meier is a research assistant at the Chair of Corporate Finance. Her research focuses on the areas of Corporate Finance and Empirical Economics. Specifically, she is interested in the real effects of financial markets as well as on economic consequences of gender stereotypes. Recently, she had the opportunity to pursue these interests during a research visit at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. Kristina Meier received a Bachelor’s degree in Culture and Economics at the University of Mannheim and a Master’s degree in Management. During these studies she spent two semesters abroad at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada and one at EMLYON in Lyon, France. Kristina Meier has gained practical experience through internships at SAP and BASF.
