Carol Seregni was born in Milan, Italy. She received her Bachelor and Master from Bocconi University, Milan. During her studies she spent one semester in the United States at Boston College and one year as a double degree student at Mannheim University. In her Master Thesis she focuses on the effects of IFRS´ adoption on differences among data reported by commercially available accounting databases. Before becoming a PhD candidate Carol has acquired practical experience through interships in marketing and finance.
