Qi Gao was born in Hubei, China. She finished her Bachelor’s and first Master’s degree in Shanghai, China, and joined Fuchs Lubricant Ltd. in China in 2004. During the five years’ work period and three years afterwards, she had the opportunity to work and live with people from all around the world. In 2013, she moved to Germany. The interest in research has driven her to join the University of Mannheim.
