Alison graduated from University of Mannheim with a B.Sc. in Economics with a minor in Political Science and from University of Kassel with a M.A. in Global Political Economy. During her studies, she worked as a teaching assistant for the M.A. Global Political Economy, as a research assistant at the International Center for Development and Decent Work (University of Kassel) and at the Chair for Political Sociology (University of Mannheim). Interning for a Brussels-based industrial lobby she has gained practical experience and alarming insights about the overwhelming power of the financial lobby in influencing financial market regulation. She further interned at a Bolivian NGO and worked for a small Mannheim-based NGO. She offers political education at vocational schools and coordinates a German-wide project for Global Learning.
