Alexander holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Cologne. He joined the CDSE in 2016 and visited Yale University in the spring of 2020.
Alexander’s research focus is on macroeconomics, especially fiscal and monetary policy, household heterogeneity, and labor markets.
