Johannes was born in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) in 1991. During his undergraduate studies of economics at the University of Mannheim, his main fields of interest were Mathematics and Game Theory. He extended his knowledge in these fields during an exchange semester at the University of Groningen. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree he continued his studies in the master’s program at the University of Mannheim. There he deepened his knowledge in these fields while also gaining interest in labor market economics. During his second and fourth semester he worked as a teaching and research assistant, respectively. He also gained research experience during an internship at the department of financial stability at the German Federal Bank. In his free time, he enjoys playing badminton, programming and spending time with his family and friends.
