Federico was born in Arezzo, Italy. He holds a BSc in Economics and trade from University of Florence (final grade 110 out of 110 cum laude). His bachelor thesis was on sustainable development and digitalization. He was awarded as best student of the School of Economics and Management – Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2015. He also holds an MSc in Economics and Development from University of Florence (final grade 110 out of 110 cum laude). His master thesis was on the individual incentives to bundle in oligopoly. He was awarded for the most original thesis of the School of Economics and Management – Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2017. During his Master studies he worked as a teaching assistant of mathematics for economics for bachelor students at University of Florence.

His research interests are mainly in the fields of Microeconomics, in particular Industrial Organization and Media Economics.
