Marco Reuter was born in 1991 in Koblenz, Germany. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Economics in 2014 and master's degree in Economics from the University of Bonn in 2016 with microeconomics and finance as his main fields of interest. During his studies he also worked as a teaching assistant for finance, business and cost management tutorials. Before joining the CDSE he gathered some professional experience during internships for German organizations in Vietnam and while working in the finance department of Groz-Beckert.

His current research interests include financial economics, in particular banking regulation, and behavioral economics. In his spare time he enjoys good food and learning Vietnamese.
