Valentina was born in 1997 in Moscow, Russia. She obtained her bachelor degree in economics at the joint program of the Higher School of Economics and New Economic School in Moscow. During this time, she also spent one semester as an exchange student at Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. In 2018 she started her master studies in economics at the University of Mannheim and joined the CDSE through the Research Track.
Her research interests are at the intersection of family economics, economics of education and labor economics.
