Christina obtained her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy & Economics at the University of Bayreuth. During that time she spent one semester abroad at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research in Mumbai, interned at the German embassy in New Delhi, and worked as a student teaching assistant at the Chair of International Competition Policy. She then received a M.Sc. in Economics from the LMU Munich. In the course of her master’s studies, she worked as a student research assistant at the Munich Center for the Economics of Ageing of the Max-Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy in Munich as well as at the ZEW in Mannheim.

Her research interests lie in the fields of household finance, the economics of ageing and applied micro-econometrics.
