Aryan was born in the year 1997 in the city Gurgaon in India. He completed his bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Delhi, India and then moved to the Netherlands for his master's degree in Economics at Tilburg University. In his master's thesis, Aryan extended a theoretical model to study how financial development affects monetary policy transmission in economies. Upon graduating, he joined the Research team at the Dutch central bank to work on a research project aimed at exploring the link between globalisation and the Eurozone's inflation rates. His interests lie in the field of Monetary Economics, Financial Economics and Macroeconomics. He also enjoys studying Political Economy.
Aryan is a coffee enthusiast and loves exploring new coffee roasters in places he visits. He enjoys exploring new cities, reading fiction and classics, and going to the mountains for treks.
