Katharina Groskurth holds a bachelor’s degree in business psychology from the West Coast University of Applied Sciences and a master’s degree in sociology from the University of Mannheim. Since 2017, Katharina is working at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences in the team Scale Development and Documentation. Further work experience includes an internship in a qualitative market research institute. In her master’s thesis, she examined the psychometric properties of a newly developed religiosity scale with a focus on comparability across religious groups. She further compared the examined psychometric properties to those of a commonly used religiosity scale. Katharina is especially interested in psychometrics/psychological assessment including models with latent variables (e.g., structural equation modeling) with a focus on measurement equivalence.
