Lucia Lou-Anne Boileau is a PhD student at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Mannheim. She is originally from Würzburg, Germany, and completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Heidelberg. As an undergraduate, Lucia worked as a research assistant in the roll-out and evaluation of motivational trainings in Kenya, Uganda and Togo. In her Master’s thesis, she investigated the impact of social norms on moral decision-making with regard to prosocial and environmental behavior. Besides that, Lucia is especially interested in the interplay of psychological variables with large-scale socioeconomic and sociocultural challenges, such as social inequality, migration and climate change.
