Information on Application Process for Master of Comparative Business Law (M.C.B.L.) 2020/2021

Dear Applicants,

Due to the current COVID-19 epidemic developments, the University of Mannheim is currently in the process of reorganizing our application procedure to a completely digital process with an online application.

The beginning of the application period Master of Comparative Business Law (M.C.B.L.) is planned for May 1, 2020. The Application Process for the Master of Comparative Business Law (M.C.B.L.) program will be a completely digital application process


Please note that for Master of Comparative Business Law (M.C.B.L.) 2020/2021 the following „Corona Safety Plan“ will apply:


1. We are currenty working on development of a possible initial online phase for the Master of Comparative Business Law (M.C.B.L.). This means that, if due to the COVID-19 epidemic, travel restrictions still remain in force before the official study start of the semester and no entrance to the Federal Republic of Germany is possible, the Fall/Winter Semester 2020 could fully or partially be offered online. As soon as restrictions end and University operations start to run as usual, the Master of Comparative Business Law (M.C.B.L.) will be continued in its original form (with attendance of courses in Mannheim).


Please note that more information on this matter will be available in the first week of May 2020 latest. Please check our Homepage regularly.


2. Since many test centers are currently closed, we will extend the deadline for submission of language proficiency proof. It will be possible to apply now and submit your proof of language proficiency at a later stage – until October 15, 2020 the latest.
