NEW: BaKuWi/MaKuWi meets Young Professional

Eva Katzer graduated from the University of Mannheim with a Bachelor in Culture and Economy: English and Business Studies in 2016 and holds a dual Master’s degree in International Development and Business & Management from Sciences Po Paris and Stockholm School of Economics. She is a Junior Policy Analyst in the Tourism Unit at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

As a BaKuWi alumni, Eva will share insights on the twists and turns that brought her from Gelsenkirchen to Paris. Building on her interdisciplinary background at the interface of language, culture, international development and business, she worked on social entrepreneurship in the Global South. After her first job as trainee in the tourism industry ended after only two months thanks to the Covid pandemic, she joined EY’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services team as a Consultant. Now she is back in tourism – this time looking at the sector from a public policy perspective, exploring how we can ‘build back better’, contributing to a more sustainable future of travelling.

Join her talk to hear about her learnings on the way and ask any questions you have regarding your thoughts about what's next after BaKuWi or MaKuWi.
