Until 2024, 40 new fuel cell range extender buses (BZ-REX Buses) will operate in Mannheim and Heidelberg. Additionally, new fueling and charging infrastructure is needed.
The MISES Team will conduct accompanying research regarding the economic viability of the project. This includes finding the optimal drivetrain technology per bus depending on the application profile as well as the optimal combination of different drivetrain technologies for a vehicle fleet.
