The services of the marketing department include the management of the corporate website and the social media channels Instagram and YouTube. Other key responsibilities of the department include photo and video productions, corporate media publications, running advertising campaigns, and personnel marketing.

Primarily, the department accepts requests from within the University of Mannheim, e.g. from the President's Office, schools, chairs, or other central institutions.
