Women Go Abroad – Mobility Grants for young female researchers

International mobility is essential for a successful academic career. Female doctoral students, women postdocs, and junior professors can apply to us for grants to cover their travel expenses related to the participation in international conferences, for research stays, or for attending winter/summer schools, thus ensuring the important professional exchange with colleagues from all over the world.

Please note:  Applications for a travel grant through 'Women go abroad' for trips in 2024 are now being accepted.

Postdocs can also apply to a program line of the research fund for a travel allowance (please contact Katharina Bolle (katharina.bollemail-uni-mannheim.de) for this).

Target group:
Female doctoral students, postdocs, and junior professors

Type of funding:
Grant for travel expenses covering the costs that have been actually incurred and can be proven (no fixed amount)

Deadline for submitting the application:
Please submit your application at least four weeks before the start of your trip.
