The CZS Wildcard funding line supports unconventional and “wild ideas” with high innovation potential in the STEM field. CZS Wildcard is explicitly aimed at projects by interdisciplinary consortia of three researchers that are radically new and therefore particularly risky. Individual scientific publications in the specific area are not required.
- Funding amount: up to € 750,000, duration: 24 months
- Application deadline: May 6, 2024
Two applications can be submitted per institution.
