University Orchestra

At the beginning of May, the University Orchestra will be playing pieces by Gabriel Fauré, Edward Elgar and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy under the direction of Manus O'Donnell.

College Jazz Orchestra

The university's big band invites you to its semester concert on 14 May at 8 pm in the Klapsmühl' am Rathaus (D6, 3). Under the direction of Jochen Welsch, jazz classics, modern jazz and self-conceived works will be performed.

Unitheater

After a two-semester rehearsal period, the ensemble is presenting the full-length drama production “Lantana – manchmal ist Liebe nicht genug”, a mix of relationship drama and psychological thriller. The director of the troupe is Christine Heinzel. The performances take place in the Bonifatius Saal (Nebeniusstraße 2, Mannheim).

University Choir

The University Choir presents “Carmina Burana” by Carl Orff with the Liedertafel Neustadt, the Cantoria Mâcon, the lower school choir of the Goethe-Gymnasium Germersheim, the Kurpfalzphilharmonie Heidelberg and the Petra Schreieck Ballet School.  The concert in Neustadter Saalbau under the direction of Jürgen Weisser will take place on 16 June at 7 pm. Sabine Goetz (soprano), Fabian Kelly (tenor) and Hao Wen (baritone) will perform the solo parts.
