We support you as teachers in the pedagogically sound design and implementation of learning videos and other multimedia content for your teaching.

Learning videos can meaningfully complement classroom teaching and open up new pedagogical possibilities. They are particularly suitable when content is to be conveyed independently of time and place, made repeatable, or presented in a clear and illustrative way. Students can adjust their learning pace individually, revisit complex material multiple times, and focus specifically on selected aspects.

Didactically well-designed learning videos support, among other things:

• preparation for in-person sessions (e.g., in a flipped classroom model),
• deepening and revising core concepts,
• introducing new topics, methods, or tools,
• supporting diverse learning prerequisites

Learning videos do not replace teaching; rather, they enhance it in a targeted way—especially when embedded in a thoughtfully designed teaching and learning framework.
