Scholarships

The University of Mannheim awards around 250 scholarships per year. Students who receive a scholarship do not just benefit financially; they also receive non-material support, which is just as valuable. As a scholarship holder, you have the chance to meet new people and develop a network.

Financial Support under the Federal Training Assistance Act (BAföG)

The Studierendenwerk is the first place to contact if you have any questions on how to finance your studies. They will give you advice on BAföG and tell you about other funding options.

Jobs

Students who are considering a career in academia can take their first step by working as a student assistant at a chair. Thus, they can gain practical experience at the university workplace, while at the same time earning some extra money. As a working student or during an internship, students can gain insights into companies.
