Stanford University
Scholarly exchange & development

Science lives from exchange.
We facilitate inquiry in organizational social science
among transnational networks of scholars.

Exchange

Roots run deep. We stand for openness, transdisciplinarity, and international scholarly exchange. Organization & the Carnegie School (HA Simon, J March, A Kieser, etc.) is the foundation of our research. We cultivate these roots through active exchange with SCANCOR at Stanford University and Havard University.  Through this we follow the tradition of organization research at Mannheim University.  Scholarly advancement in organizational studies means nurturing the development of social scientists and their scholarship over the course of whole careers and while encouraging collaborations worldwide.

We are part of the European Family Business Center network (EUFBC). This circle is the embodiment of mutual exchange between Europe's leading research centers on family firm research. With a bi-weekly virtual research seminar, EuFBC institutions aim at creating spaces for discussion, collaboration, and exchange supported by the leading scholars in the field. In particular, support of early career scholars.
