As of 1 July, the classic Teams client will no longer be available

Starting 1 July 2025, the classic Teams client will no longer be available. If you have not already done so, you will need to upgrade to the new client.
If you are still using the old client, you can tell by clicking on your profile picture in the window that opens and seeing the line “Info” followed by the classic client name under “Version.” 
In this case, an upgrade is necessary. Everyone else is already using the new version of the Teams client and does not need to take any action.
