Communications Department

The Communications department of the President’s Office functions as the link between the university and the public. We communicate news from the university both in-house and to the public and are the first point of contact for journalists looking for academic experts or seeking information about the university in general or about particular programs of study.

The Communications department has received multiple national and international awards, including the EUPRIO Award for outstanding communications projects by a European higher education institution, the German University Fundraising Prize, and the German PR Prize awarded by the German Public Relations Association (DPRG), which we have won twice. We have also repeatedly been awarded the prize for exemplary vocational training of trainees by the German Association for University Communication.
