bwCampusnetz

In the bwCampusnetz project, several universities work together to analyze the universities’ campus networks. The project is headed by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. The goal is to develop sustainable concepts and to analyze and demonstrate their practicality by prototypical implementations. The focus areas are network architecture and segmentation, Wireless LAN, VPN and firewall. In addition, further aspects of network administration with IPv6 are to be analyzed. The design and implementation of the work packages must comply with the requirements of the IT basic protection catalog (IT-Grundschutz-Kompendium). The concepts and prototypes developed in the projects will then be presented in talks and workshops at the universities and universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg.

Project plan:
December 2021 until November 2024
