Time Server

The University IT operates a central time server (NTP server) as reference source and for synchronizing the exact system time of computer systems via the NTP protocol. An exact system time is required for the proper functioning of systems and applications.

Within the networks of the University of Mannheim, the time server can be accessed and used under

134.155.98.19  rumtime.uni-mannheim.de.
