Since 2007, Professor Michael Woywode, as holder of the Chair of Entrepreneurship at the University of Mannheim, has been combining academic excellence with practical support for startups. As director of the Mannheim Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MCEI), he supports students in developing their business ideas through hands-on entrepreneurship courses and startup lounges. His research, published in renowned journals on topics such as startup management and startup growth, combined with his active networking of students, founders, and investors, makes him a key player in the regional startup ecosystem.
