Dr. Bettina Müller

Short profile

Bettina Müller studied Economics, Italian, and German Literature at the University of Konstanz. After her studies, she was a research associate at the ZEW – Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research in Mannheim in the research area “Digital Economy.” During this time, she completed her Ph.D. at the University of Konstanz on the impact of the founding team's composition in terms of educational background and skills on the success of young companies. She then moved to the research area “Economics of Innovation and Industrial Dynamics” at ZEW, working as a research associate and senior researcher on various projects in the fields of entrepreneurship and the creative economy. Additionally, she served as a Lecturer for Entrepreneurship at the University of Birmingham and as a lecturer for Quantitative Methods at Pforzheim University.
