Submitting Your Final Thesis via Prüfungs-ILIAS
Starting from the spring semester 2026, the submission of bachelor’s theses via Prüfungs-ILIAS will be piloted with selected departments: Business Administration, Political Science, and Sociology. If you are part of this cohort, you will receive detailed information about the submission process via e-mail. All information on submitting your thesis via Prüfungs-ILIAS can be found below.
Important steps
By when do I need to submit my final thesis?
The submission deadline is set individually by the department and will be communicated to you by your teachers during the course. The deadline is also recorded accordingly in Prüfungs-ILIAS by your teachers.
When will I see the examination course in Prüfungs-ILIAS?
As soon as your registration for the thesis has been processed by Student Services, you will see your course in Prüfungs-ILIAS. You will also receive an e-mail informing you about the submission process once your course has been created.
How can I upload my thesis to Prüfungs-ILIAS?
You submit your final thesis in Prüfungs-ILIAS at pruefung.uni-mannheim.de.
The process consists of two steps:
Step 1: Declaration of consent → “Start test” → scroll down, tick, scroll up → “Finish test” = prerequisite for starting the upload of your thesis in Step 2.

Currently there are no files available.
Do I need to submit a declaration of originality?
The declaration of originality is part of Step 1 in Prüfungs-ILIAS. You do not need to submit a separate version of the declaration. By completing Step 1, you confirm that you have completed your thesis independently.
