Wireless on Campus

Please refer to the following information for a stable wireless connection on campus.

The current disruptions of the wireless on the university’s campus are primarily caused by mobile hotspots of smartphones. Please turn mobile hotspots on your smartphone off. These hotspots diminish the bandwidth on campus and disrupt the entire network. Please connect your device to the “eduroam” wireless. You have not installed “eduroam” yet? Just complete the following steps: Wireless instructions.

We have another tip for a quicker Internet connection: Please turn off the wireless on your device, when you have taken your seat, and wait a moment. As soon as you turn the wireless on again, your device searches for a connection to the nearest Access Point.
